Weeknote 177
Garbage Garmin
- At work we had GIFT Week in which we stepped away from usual objectives-based work to spend time contributing to other work or backlogs. I dusted off my GitHub/developer skills and decided to spend some time addressing accessibility fixes on the Publishing Design guide.
- Highly enjoyed and recommend, Wild Horse Nine, which we saw on its London premiere at the London Film Festival. Some, in our opinion, inappropriate laughter from some of the audience throughout on the subject of the 1973 Chilean coup d'état, but nonetheless an enjoyable night out.
- Making the most of the few remaining weekends of sunshine and dry weather before winter, so I went solo cycling for two hours on Sunday to Spoke Cycles Cafe direct from North London. Super frustrated that once again my rather new and pricey Garmin GPS device failed to save my activity recording in full and only captured the last 8km to Stevenage train station from the café.
