Weeknote 166

  • Last weekend was rather busy and somewhat stressful, preparing my apartment for photos to go on the market. Lots of cleaning up and decluttering but happy with the result and now have some great photos.
  • Not often out in town on Monday evenings, but made it along to a book launch event in Shoreditch for Lisa Riemers' Accessible Communications book. Chatted to a few familiar faces and stayed for the main presentation before heading home.
  • After three months of pre-sale work and delays getting the searches from the council, my estate agents were finally in a position to start marketing my property. A shockingly low valuation thanks to the war, politics and plenty other bad things going on right now, meaning it's much less than what I paid. Viewings day planned and hopefully some competing offers within 3-4 weeks time.
  • Tried Pilates with Mena at the weekend. Somewhat apprehensive going there, but the beginner session wasn't too demanding and wasn't painful.
  • Returned to Sunday cycling, inspired by Giro d'Italia on right now. Rode to Guildford via some pretty countryside lanes before joining a rather unloved and bumpy cycle path section adjacent to the A3 highway.
