Weeknote 147
Return of Bagheera and a week of nursing a cold
- The latter half of last week was spent nursing a cold that finally took hold after lingering for weeks as a very irritating dry throat.
- By Thursday evening I was just well enough to deliver my accessibility presentation at MK Geek Night. I’ve known about the event for years, but never attended due to the distance—so I was glad to finally go as a speaker. The audience feedback was very positive, and the other two talks were excellent.
- With my runny nose and immune system running low, I was grateful to save a few pounds and avoid the busy Tube by taking the quieter West London train route from Wimbledon via Watford to Milton Keynes.
- Bagheera the cat has returned once again to my apartment for a month or two. She settled in immediately and has claimed the comfiest, largest recliner as her own.
