Weeknote 145
V&A talk on accessibility
- Off the back of last week, I seemed to catch something cold‑like, though thankfully it stayed throat‑based rather than turning into a full‑blown cold, perfect excuse to put on my best rough‑voiced Frank Butcher impression.
- This week was the monthly design team drinks at GDS. As usual only a couple of people turned up, but we had the welcome addition of our new Chief Designer, Colin Burns, who stopped by for a pint. Nice chance to get to know senior leadership on a more personal level.
- BBC's Celebrity edition of Race Across World is back this month. So far enjoying the race across Central America and comparing my modest Spanish abilities to the English-speaking contestants.
- On Friday evening I was at the V&A to view a talk on accessible design and inclusive immersive spaces. A great line‑up of speakers from across the disability spectrum shared stories about projects employing virtual reality in an accessible format.
